Andrew started attending Northampton in April 2016 with his fiancé, Tiffany. He was asked to serve as the Interim Worship Director in March 2017. Andrew is very passionate about leading the worship team, and the church family in a time a worship that can be carried out through their every day lives.
Andrew believes that God has given him the knowledge and gifts to be able to serve in this way, to bring God the glory. His goal is to not only lead the team to grow closer in their relationship with Christ, but to bring everyone’s skills together to create a time of worship that will allow all generations to sing out their praises to God.
Around the time of 2006, Andrew received his first instrument for Christmas, a drum set. He had played baseball for about 9 years growing up, but due to an injury he had to take a step back. Once he picked up the drums, other instruments started to become more natural to him. Music ended up filling that void of baseball. Since then, Andrew has been able to serve in numerous ways through music, such as working as an instrumental director, private instrumental and voice instructor, and serving on numerous worship teams over the past 11 years in different roles.
Currently, his favorite verse in the Bible is Psalm 46:10. It has such a powerful message behind the words.
Andrew will be getting married June 17th, 2017 to his fiancé, Tiffany Cagwin. They met after auditioning for a community theatre show, Cinderella, at Weathervane Playhouse. They share a huge love for music, and serving The Lord in anyway they can.
